Looking Forward to 2014

In wargaming terms 2013 will be difficult to beat, so my overall aim is simply to play as many games as I can and keep the variety of rules, venues and opponents as high as possible.  I also want to get more painted figures completed and on the table.

There are a few specific new things

                Play at least a couple of games of Bloody Barons

                Play some games of Check Your 6! in particular Mers el Kebir and perhaps Guadalcanal

                Get my Indonesian Confrontation game on the table

                Finish the Paraguayan War figures and get a game

                Complete my SF force and get a game of some sort

Half the fun is getting involved in other people’s projects such as the proposed WW2 naval campaign and Purple Heart Valley over Japan (think superfortresses)  

Of the ongoing stuff both the Longstreet and Mordhiem campaigns will continue and come to a climax in 2014 which will be good.   I will also probably take part in the Scottish Impetus circuit again this year.
